How we score advisor compensation

Every advisor starts at 100. Points come off for two things: pay you cannot see, and pay that grows when your spend grows. Two caps set the floor. A bonus arrangement with insurers caps the score at 49. No written duty to act in your best interest caps it at 10. Every deduction cites the advisor's own disclosure, quoted word for word. We score ourselves on the same sheet.
