What’s better: healthcare conferences or John Bonham’s triplets?
I’m not sure, so I am heading to Washington, D.C. next week to speak at the thINc360 Healthcare Conference and find out.
It's a great conference with stakeholders from across the healthcare industry there to share best practices, new ideas, concepts, etc.
So, if you're an employer that wants to join dozens of other employers there in DC, send me a message on LinkedIn. I have an exclusive discount code just for you, making your attendance at the conference even more affordable.
By the way, I'm going to be speaking on what it means to be a “benefits consultant”.
Number one, being a benefits consultant (should) mean that you're not tying your revenue to the sale of a product. You're tying your revenue to advisory services and results.
Number two, benefits consulting should use a formal discovery process to understand their client’s current state and desired future state.
Effective discovery processes use data to quantify the value-equation and current state of a benefits program.
This is hugely important because making product or strategy recommendations without discovery is essentially malpractice (yikes).
Anyway, I hope to see you in Washington D.C., but before I say goodbye, I’ll leave you with some classic John Bonham triplets so we can settle this question once and for all.
Take care.”
